This e-study illustrates refugee resettlement policy and process, the role of the nonprofit sector, and refugees’ grassroots organizations. Resettlement is discussed as a multi-faceted system with cross-sector collaborations. Refugees organizations are described as actors, with vision and varied activities, but also with complex, unique challenges. Refugee organizational leaders themselves share their experiences, perspectives and on-the-ground realities of their communities.
