This e-case highlights the work of John Edmonds, an African American leader at Olmsted County, who has taken a novel approach towards addressing structural racism in human service agencies. The e-case centers on the creation and expansion of the Disproportionality Integration Group (DIG) - a cross-division workgroup at Olmsted County that develops and implements strategies to address systemic and organizational barriers in the area of racial disproportionality.
